Synopsis: The film tells of the pains undergone when the head of the family shifts the jewel-studded idol, which is Chor Ke Ghar Chor which is a secret treasure from the temple to his house. ‘Chor Ke Ghar Chor’ deals with the theives who are in search of a very ancient and costly idol, very lucky to its owner. But no single thief gets the valuable possession for a long time and it keeps on changing hands so much so that this leads to two stately families into tragic disintegration. This lucky idol suddenly disappears for one full generation.After 12 years gap the same mysterious idol comes to the human knowledge-this time bringing together the scattered pieces of the jigsaw of the struck families.”Chor Ke Ghar Chor” is the story of Ashok Kumar, a mad man who is the eye witness of the current theft. It is the story of Pran, a gangster who is in search of his brother’s murderer. After years he gets his clue from Ashok Kumar and plans to escape from the asylum just to reach the killer. Who knew that this hunt would leadAshok Kumar also to his own lost daughter Zeenat Aman, who holds ‘Majma’ at different locates of Bombay with her cow who nods yes or no to the queries of the people. This type of predictions leads her in the crime world. It is also the story of Randhir Kapoor – a sculptor – makes similar idol & baffles the theives of the world. And finally “Chor Ke Ghar Chor” involves Deven Verma plays double role, one of an innocent Sethji Parveen Bhai and the other of his U.S.A. return elder brother Jackson, in search of the same idol and especially after being trained by James Bond.
